SOPHOMORE SINGLE 2021

DEBUT SINGLE 2021
"In a world full of disposable hits, Semiah is here for the long haul" - Matt Adams, Vocal Beat (USA)
As a deluge of artists seek to be the next viral sensation Semiah is a breath of fresh mountain air. She's as at home on stage - where she's spent 20 of her 25 years - as she is chopping wood in the bush or glammed up on an urban dancefloor.
Named “artist to watch” by She Bops Zine (USA) Semiah moves effortlessly from intimate club shows to large theatres with a flirty dervish story-teller energy that elicits encores from swooning concert goers – but don't let her playful cowgrrl edge fool you, she has a spiritual depth that belies her age.
Hailing from Six Nations and based in Toronto Semiah writes infectious Alt Pop bangers and heartbreaking acoustic ballads about love, fear, resilience and recklessness, sung with a distinctive golden tone and occasional Haudenosaunee vocal inflections.
Debut single 'Nothing Can Kill My Love for You' garnered over 100,000 streams, and tracks from debut EP 'After The Night Ends' continue to be featured on CBC radio programs Here & Now, AfterDark and Drive with Rich Terfry.
Most recent single 'Withdrawals', co-produced with Montreal collaborator Teleh0rn, is paired with an official video that showcases Semiah’s directorial and choreography skills with the Katana sword fight and powerpuff characters pouncing in the snowy Alberta mountains like an Indigenous Charlie's Angels. Screened at Finland’s renowned Skábmagovat Indigenous Peoples' Film Festival in January 2025.
“Withdrawals video [...] feels like Quentin Tarantino meets Studio Ghibli; Semiah as the mastermind is a testament to her boundless creativity." - Kindline Magazine (USA).
Sophomore EP LVR GRL arrives in the heat of summer 2025, with first single Clementine dropping June 30 - a song based on Kate Winslet’s character in Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind with its' persistent chorus hook: "like when does it end, want you out of my head, want you out of my head, want you out of my head"
INTERNATIONAL MEDIA
